Conventional Toroidal Transformers should always be operated at a minimum capacity 0f 80%. They can be dimmed with phase trailing edge & leading edge dimmers. Please adhere to manufacturer guidelines.

Electronic Transformers

All illustrated electronic transformers are safety transformers in compact build.
They are protected against overload and short circuit.
These transformers can be used in combination with a resistive/trailing edge dimmer only.
Please pay attention to the manufacturers guidelines.
Please note:
The secondary cable of an electronic transformer must never exceed 2 meters, otherwise it can
cause emission interference.
Electronic transformers are not suitable for wire systems.
