The 5 conductor EUTRAC recessed track has three separately switchable circuits. It consists of an extruded aluminium profile which also functions as ground and two inserted plastic profiles carrying four embedded 2,5 mm² copper conductors. Any given profile can be easily cut to length on site. It is not necessary to cut back or bend back the copper wire. It may be used within hand reach. Arrowshaped suspensions are provided for the use with profile snap hangers.

EUTRAC adaptors with bus contacts can use the track without data bus. In this case DALI function would not be available.
